The City of New Bedford is excited to offer payers an easy and secure way to view, print and pay their water / sewer, motor vehicle excise bills and real estate and personal property tax bills online. We support electronic presentment (viewing) and billing because it is more convenient for our payers and better for the environment.

eBill supports both PC and Macintosh operating systems. eBill is compatible with all major modern browsers. All browsers must have 128 bit SSL encryption or higher.
Payments can be made using an electronic check (ACH) from a checking or savings account. You may also make payments using Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover® or the American Express® Credit Card. Credit Card restrictions apply.
There is no fee when paying by electronic check (ACH.) Credit card charges totaling over $100 will be approximately 3% of the payment. The minimum convenience fee for using a credit card for payments under $100 will range from $1 to approximately $4 dollars. If you are using a Debit Card, it will be treated as a credit card payment and will have the same charges associated with credit card payments. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Go Green with Paperless Billing:
The City of New Bedford is offering residents the option to Go Green! Residents can chose to discontinue receiving a paper bill in the mail. An electronic copy of the bill will be available under your eBill account. An email notification will be sent to you when a new bill is made available under your eBill account. Sign up for this eco-friendly feature from your eBill account, under the My eBills tab.
Get a Copy of your Bill:
Residents can get a copy of their mailed paper bill online. Simply log into your eBill account and search for your bill to view and print a copy of your bill. We suggest you save a copy of this bill to your computer for your records.
